Planning and Analysis
A Master Facility Plan is a hospital’s roadmap for future facility development.
Functional and Space Programming
Functional and Space Programming delineates operational goals, staffing needs and desired outcomes at a departmental level.
Schematic Design
Upon approval of the functional and space program, plan options are developed for departmental layouts, reflecting room size and the desired adjacencies.
Owner Representation
Acting on behalf of the owner, TKH, assists in the procurement of services such as Architects, Engineers and Contractors.
Program Management
Program Management services assist the owner in communicating to the design team the owners’ expectations in terms of schedule and budget.
Construction Documents
This step involves the final refinements and details necessary to construct the proposed plan.
In the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic, TKH quickly put into action designs and workflows to handle the increased number of patients being tested and admitted to hospitals. Within the campus of Mercy St. Louis, TKH designed a temporary 350 bed surge facility utilizing existing parking structures. Additionally, design and workflow assistance was given to Mercy’s additional campuses in Oklahoma City, OK, Springfield, MO and Rogers, AR.
