TKH was engaged to develop a functional program for a new Women’s & Children’s Hospital on the Mercy Hospital Springfield Campus. This project was developed within the existing “H” Wing of the hospital.

TKH provided programming and planning services for this project which created a separate identifiable entry specifically for Women’s & Children’s services. Included in the project was retail and food services off the new Main Lobby and a St. Jude Clinic on the Main Level, approximately 28,000 square feet of testing and treatment for pediatrics, a 24-bed inpatient unit and a 12-bed PICU on the upper floors.

Planning for the expansion and renovation of the existing OB Department is on-going.
