The main Hospital Pharmacy at Mercy Hospital St. Louis was relocated and expanded to approximately 10,200 square feet. The project was split into two main areas each with about 5,100 square feet. One area included the main pharmacy mixing and related work / prep areas while the second area consisted of office space for pharmacy administration, pharmacists, Pharm ‘D’ program and related support. The main Pharmacy work area included a new packaging robot, two new carousels with provisions for a third, 797 compliant mixing rooms for both hazardous and non-hazardous mixing and work areas for smaller automated packaging equipment.
